We Dissent is a monthly podcast by three secular women who also happen to be powerhouse attorneys at the major secular organizations in the United States. This podcast will explore religious liberty cases currently before the U.S. Supreme Court and at other federal courts across the country. The hosts will also dicuss the advocacy work they do inside and outside the court to keep religion and the government separate. Show notes with relevant news articles and links to the cases that are discussed are posted with each episode. Transcripts are also posted shortly after the episode airs.

Rebecca Markert: Hello, welcome to We Dissent, a monthly podcast by 4 secular women who also happen to be powerhouse attorneys at the major secular organizations in the United States. I’m Rebecca Markert with the Freedom From Religion Foundation and I’ll be one of your Co-hosts.

Monica Miller: I’m Monica Miller with the American Humanist Association and another Co-host. Join us as we discuss development affecting the separation of church and state in the United States Supreme Court and the Lower federal courts.

Alison Gill: I’m Alison Gill with American Atheists and another Co-hosts. We will also explore the other advocacy work we do to help atheists and other nonreligious people outside the courtroom.

Liz Cavell: And I’m Liz Cavell, the final co-host, also with the Freedom from Religion Foundation.
